Post Merger Executive Alignment

Leading the corporate teams of two international sports betting and gambling organisations, to form a new, integrated, executive team

The bringing together of two competing organisations with a similar organisational structure required objective insight into the experience, capability and potential of the C-Level heads of function from both teams in order to re-form a new, integrated executive, team.

The new, global organisation would be more, innovative and faster growing, requiring a focused and optimised executive team with the capacity to deliver expected results, whilst building high performing teams in new markets.

 

We engaged the senior leadership teams in a series of workshops and face to face/online executive assessment processes to understand existing capability and potential.  The data from these sessions was used to highlight traits that had enabled historical success and expose any gaps in the team that could be developed over time.  We worked with the board to design a new leadership organisation and used the assessment data to reorganise the executive team roles and responsibilities to set them up for success.

24 senior executives went through the process in 2 weeks, and were provided with individual feedback, tailored development plans and newly defined roles and responsibilities.  The board were provided with detailed insight into the C-Level and high potential leaders of the future and were able to make, evidence based decisions quickly and effectively, reducing the impact of the merger and ensuring continuity of success and growth across the business.


We provided additional coaching and development services to the executive team and their direct reports, to reinforce the evolving culture of the organisation and sustain their success.
